Using the site

Digital products

Products purchased through Payhip or Teachers Pay Teachers are licensed for your personal and classroom use. That license means:

  • You may download, print, and use the materials for yourself and your own students
  • You may not resell, redistribute, or share the files with others outside your household or classroom
  • You may not upload the files to any platform, marketplace, or file-sharing service
  • School or co-op use beyond a single classroom requires a multi-license purchase

Each purchase gives you access to the file described in the product listing. We do not offer refunds on digital downloads once a file has been delivered, except where required by law or in cases of a significant file error on our end. If you have a problem with a file, contact us and we will make it right.

Payhip and TPT each have their own terms governing the transaction itself - payment processing, account management, and dispute resolution happen on those platforms under their terms.

The newsletter

The Colonial Hearth Letter is delivered through Substack. Subscribing means you agree to Substack's terms of service in addition to these. You can unsubscribe at any time. We will not use your email address for anything other than the newsletter and occasional announcements directly related to American Colonial Home.

The /reading page contains Amazon affiliate links. We earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are identified by a disclosure notice on the page where they appear. Links appear only on the website - never in emails or downloadable files.

Intellectual property
