This policy explains what information American Colonial Home collects, how it is used, and your choices.
What we collect and why
Email address
If you subscribe to The Colonial Hearth Letter, your email address is collected and stored by Substack, the platform that manages the newsletter. We use it to send the weekly letter and occasional announcements. We do not sell or rent your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
Purchase information
Digital products sold through Payhip or Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) are handled entirely on those platforms. American Colonial Home does not receive or store your payment details. Each platform's privacy policy governs what they collect at checkout.
Site analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site — pages visited, time spent, general geography, and referral sources. Google Analytics collects this data through cookies. It does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Affiliate links
The /reading page contains Amazon affiliate links. American Colonial Home participates in the Amazon Associates program and earns a small commission on qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to Amazon, and Amazon's privacy policy governs any data collected there. Affiliate links appear only on the website - never in emails or downloadable files.

This site uses cookies through Google Analytics. No other first-party cookies are set. If you use a browser setting or extension to block analytics cookies, the site will still work normally.
